Paintings by Salvador Dalí, the Spanish Catalan artist and Surrealist, who painted dream images with the precise technique of the old masters. The group includes his late work of the 1950s, in which religious and scientific themes meet the strange, soft forms for which he was famous, and his last painting, a mathematical series on catastrophes in which Surrealism and science meet. Dalí painted them in a career that ran from the 1920s to the 1980s, and both are in museums and collections of Europe and North America.
