Mrinalini Mukherjee was an Indian sculptor who lived from 1949 to 15 February 2015, known for her distinctly contemporary style and use of dyed and woven hemp fibre, an unconventional material for sculpting, over a career lasting more than four decades from the 1970s to the 2000s. Her work is part of public collections including the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi, Tate Modern in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
