The Concert is an oil-on-canvas painting by the Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer, created around 1664, showing three figures making music together in a domestic interior: a woman playing a harpsichord, a man playing a lute, and a second woman singing. The painting was stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston on March 18, 1990, and has never been recovered. It is widely considered the most valuable work of art still missing, with its value estimated at roughly 250 million dollars.
