Untitled (Mural for Peace), commonly known as the United Nations Security Council mural, is an oil painting by the Norwegian artist Per Krohg that has hung in the United Nations Security Council chamber in New York since August 1952. The 18 by 29 foot canvas covers the chamber's east wall and centers on a rising phoenix surrounded by images of war and disharmony near the bottom and more tranquil images toward the top.
