Cubist Painters

Painters of Cubism, the movement Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque developed beginning around 1908 that fractured objects into geometric facets shown from multiple viewpoints at once, along with painters closely associated with the movement's circle and its direct international offshoots. This group excludes painters merely influenced by or later compared to Cubism without direct participation in the movement or a documented Cubist period of their own work, who belong instead under Other Modernist Painters or their own more specific movement group.
