The Apocalypse, more properly titled Apocalypse with Pictures, is a 1498 printed book by the German artist Albrecht Durer containing fifteen woodcuts illustrating scenes from the Book of Revelation, accompanied by text. It rapidly brought Durer fame across Europe, and its woodcuts are thought to have drawn on theological advice, particularly from Johannes Pirckheimer, father of Durer's friend Willibald Pirckheimer.
