Study of a Kneeling Nude Girl for The Entombment is a drawing made around 1500 to 1501 by Michelangelo, in black chalk with pen, ink and white highlighting on pink prepared paper, measuring 26.6 by 15.1 centimeters and held in the Louvre in Paris. It is a preparatory study for a kneeling female figure in the lower left foreground of Michelangelo's painting The Entombment, shown holding the nails from the cross in one hand and the crown of thorns in the other. The sheet is thought to be Michelangelo's only surviving drawing made from a nude female model, and possibly the earliest known European drawing of its kind, since such studies were rare before the seventeenth century.
