Houses designed by the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, from the low, horizontal Prairie style houses of the early twentieth century to the house built over a waterfall in Pennsylvania. His houses opened up the interior, tied the building to its site and gave the building its own furniture and light, and many are now museums that can be visited. The group includes homes and house museums of Chicago and Pennsylvania which visitors can tour today.
