Portrait of Luca Pacioli

Portraits

Portrait of Luca Pacioli is a painting from around 1500 attributed to the Italian Renaissance artist Jacopo de' Barbari, with some scholars proposing a collaboration with Leonardo da Vinci. It depicts the Renaissance mathematician Luca Pacioli alongside an unidentified second figure that has sometimes been suggested to be the German painter Albrecht Durer, whom Barbari is known to have encountered between 1495 and 1500. It is held today at the Capodimonte Museum in Naples. This description is adapted from Wikipedia contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0; changes were made. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
