The Enchanted Pose is a 1927 oil on canvas painting by the Belgian surrealist René Magritte, showing a pair of identical female nudes in a bare interior. Long considered lost after the 1930s, the painting was in fact cut up by Magritte and its canvas reused as the support for four later paintings made in the mid 1930s; conservators discovered fragments of the original composition hidden beneath those later works beginning in 2013, at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Moderna Museet, the Norwich Castle Museum and the Magritte Museum in Brussels. The original measured about 114 by 162 centimetres.
