Films

Persona is a 1966 Swedish psychological drama written, directed and produced by Ingmar Bergman, starring Bibi Andersson and Liv Ullmann. It follows a nurse, Alma, caring for an actress, Elisabet Vogler, who has stopped speaking, and traces Alma's growing difficulty distinguishing her own identity from her patient's after the two relocate to a seaside cottage. Widely discussed for its experimental prologue, its themes of duality and identity, and performances by Andersson and Ullmann considered among the finest in film history, it won Best Film at the Guldbagge Awards and is regarded by many critics as Bergman's masterpiece and among the greatest achievements in cinema.
