Art Buff

Art Buff is a 2014 spray-painted mural by the British street artist Banksy, created on a wall in Folkestone, England, as part of the Folkestone Triennial that year. It shows a woman wearing headphones staring at a plinth bearing a patch of painted-over graffiti, a pun on the word buff, slang for covering up graffiti. The mural was vandalized in October 2014, removed the following month, and briefly taken to the Art Basel Miami Beach fair for a planned sale to benefit a cancer charity before a 2015 court ruling and its eventual return to Folkestone in 2020, where it was displayed as part of the Creative Quarter of the town.
