James Collinson (1825-1881) was a Victorian painter and a member of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood from 1848 to 1850. He is known for works including The Renunciation of St Elizabeth of Hungary, and his broken engagement to the poet Christina Rossetti influenced many of her poems.
