Portrait of Terentius Neo is a Roman fresco of about 50 AD from a house in Pompeii, showing the bakery owner Terentius Neo and his wife as equals, he holding a scroll and she a stylus and wax tablet, emblems of literacy and civic standing. It was found in the House of Terentius Neo and is now held at the National Archaeological Museum in Naples; a smaller painting of Cupid and Psyche originally hung directly above the couple on the same wall.
