The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers, are an interlinked pair of eighty eight story supertall skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, standing 451.9 metres tall. From 1998 to 2004 they were the tallest buildings in the world before being surpassed by Taipei 101, and they remain the tallest twin towers on earth. The towers are a defining landmark of the Kuala Lumpur skyline alongside the nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.
