The Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, Even, also called The Large Glass, is an artwork by Marcel Duchamp standing over nine feet tall and almost six feet wide, made from two panes of glass worked with lead foil, fuse wire, dust and other materials. Duchamp worked on the piece from 1915 to 1923 in New York City, combining chance procedures, plotted perspective studies and laborious craftsmanship, having begun developing its ideas in notes and studies as early as 1912.
