The Zuojiang Huashan Rock Art Cultural Landscape is a cluster of ancient painted rock art on the west bank of the Ming River in Ningming County, Guangxi, southern China, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2016. The paintings are thought to date from about 1600 to 2500 years ago, spanning the Warring States period to the late Han dynasty, and were made with a mixture of red ochre, animal glue and blood. The main painted surface measures roughly 170 metres wide by 40 metres tall and carries around 1900 images arranged in about 110 groups, showing human figures, animals, bronze drums, weapons, bells and ships, most figures 60 to 150 centimetres tall with one reaching 3 metres. The images are believed to illustrate the life and rituals of the ancient Luo Yue people, thought to be ancestors of today's Zhuang, Muong and Kinh peoples.
