Last Supper (Castagno)

The Last Supper is a fresco painted between 1445 and 1450 by the Italian Renaissance artist Andrea del Castagno, located in the refectory of the former convent of Sant'Apollonia in Florence, now the Museo del Cenacolo di Sant'Apollonia. It depicts Jesus and the apostles at the Last Supper, with Judas seated apart from the other apostles on the near side of the table, a common convention in depictions of the scene in Christian art.
