Orazio Borgianni was an Italian painter and etcher of the Mannerist and early Baroque periods, born in Rome in 1574 and active until his death in 1616. He traveled to Spain under the patronage of Philip II, where two of his paintings remain in the Prado Museum, before returning to Rome, where his work shows the influence of both the Carracci and the tenebrist style of Caravaggio.
