Teresa del Pò

Teresa del Pò (1649-1716) was an Italian painter and engraver born in Rome, the daughter of the painter Pietro del Pò, under whose manner she trained and through whom she gained membership in the Accademia di San Luca. Her output included oil paintings, miniatures and etchings, among them a rendering of Susannah and the Elders drawn from Carracci compositions. She later moved to Naples, where she spent the final decades of her career, working across the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries in both painting and printmaking.
