Ecce Homo is a fresco in the Sanctuary of Mercy church in Borja, Spain, painted around 1930 by the Spanish painter Elias Garcia Martinez. It depicts Jesus crowned with thorns in the traditional devotional pose known as Ecce Homo. The fresco later became internationally known through a widely reported amateur restoration that altered its original appearance.
