The Equestrian Portrait of Prince Balthasar Charles is a painting made in 1634 to 1635 by the Spanish court painter Diego Velazquez, showing the young Prince of Asturias, then about five or six years old, mounted on a pony reared in a levade and holding a field marshal's baton. It was commissioned as part of a series of royal equestrian portraits for the Hall of Realms at the Buen Retiro Palace in Madrid. The painting is held in the Museo del Prado in Madrid.
