One Nation Under CCTV was a mural painted in 2007 by the anonymous English street artist Banksy on a wall on Newman Street in London, beside an actual closed-circuit television camera on a Royal Mail building. It showed a child in a red hooded top painting the mural title phrase on the wall while watched by a police officer and a dog. Westminster City Council ordered the work removed in 2008 on the grounds that it amounted to unlicensed advertising, and the mural was painted over in April 2009.
