Wheatfield with Crows

Landscapes and Still Lifes

Wheatfield with Crows is a July 1890 painting by Vincent van Gogh, cited by several critics as one of his greatest works. It is commonly but incorrectly stated to have been Van Gogh final painting, an association popularized by the 1956 biopic Lust for Life; letters suggest it was actually completed around 10 July 1890 and predates several later paintings, with his true final work believed to be Tree Roots.
