Polidoro Caldara, usually known as Polidoro da Caravaggio, was an Italian painter of the Mannerist period who lived from about 1499 to 1543. He is described as arguably the most gifted and certainly the least conventional of Raphael pupils, and he was best known for paintings on the facades of Roman houses that have since vanished. He was unrelated to the later painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, although both came from the town of Caravaggio.
